The Gan 17 is the latest iteration in Gan's flagship series, released in August 2026, bringing an all-new magnet layout that provides additional attraction when the layers are aligned and additional repulsion when the layers are antiphase.
By having repelling corner-centre/edge-edge magnet interactions, this solves the problem of the edge-core and corner-core magnets having different latitudes that is present in most other cubes that also try to use magnetic repulsion.
